(Week 3)

At this point in the project my constant source of catchy song lyrics has been depleted and I can't think of a fun way to start this blog post. It's my tell tale sign, when i stop singing, you know I'm going into shut down mode to cope with the work. I also become slightly more dramatic, don't know if you can tell. Ohh wait, i thought of one! (the title you read to start with) I decided to leave this into paragraph to show you where my heads at.

Anyways, week three is about our sample. We needed to choose at least five people who were a part of our target audience or end user group to interview. Most of my 'interviews' turned into questionnaires because of time and organisation factors. My sample consisted of design educators for high school and students that were already enrolled at FADA.

We spent A LOT of time developing questions that would provides us with the information we were searching for- i legitimately think asking questions is an art form! It's not easy in the slightest. But after trial and error i had a set of questions for educators and a set for students.

At the beginning of the week i thought i was going to land up with three people who didn't even really fit my research categories but somehow, by the end of the week i had six sample members who had given me rich data. I was still holding out hope that i'd get one more educator, but i considered the data i did have as a victory

Until next week...
